Space Casino wanted to revamp their website and create a unique illustration system that would fit with their space theme, while also being visually appealing and user-friendly.
Concept development: We began by researching space imagery, such as planets, stars, rockets, and other celestial objects. We explored various illustration styles, including flat design and isometric illustrations, before deciding to final approach. We created a style guide that included a color palette to ensure a consistent visual language across all illustrations.
Illustration system: We designed a series of illustrations that would be used throughout the website to create a cohesive space theme. This included illustrations of planets, rockets, spaceships, and other space-related objects, as well as illustrations of characters in space suits.
Character design: The Astronaut
The character acts as something of a magical guide for the users, helping them get a better understanding of the actions. Foxnaif designed the character from multiple points of view, in several different moments and situations, in order to create the system.
Space elements:
Foxnaif built the illustration system playing with various elements that recall the concept and the brand’s values. Hexagonal shapes become central, creating a constant flow from spaceship to bubbles or blobs.
The illustrations were integrated into various sections of the website, such as the homepage, game selection page, and promotional banners. The new illustration system helped to create a unique and visually appealing space theme for the website. The illustrations were also effective in communicating information about the games and promotions. Overall, the new illustration system helped to create a cohesive and engaging website experience for Space Casino's users.
